Hi there! We’re the family behind Delightful Dachshunds, a small, passionate, and ethical breeding program based in the beautiful Scenic Rim, QLD. We specialise in raising high-quality, well-tempered miniature dachshunds who are bred not only for their adorable looks, but for their loving, intelligent, and loyal personalities. Our dogs are first and foremost our pets ~ they are raised in our home, surrounded by love, children, other animals, and all the everyday noises and experiences of family life. We are hands-on from day one, ensuring every puppy is nurtured, handled daily, and exposed to a variety of enriching experiences to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions. We are committed to early neurological stimulation (ENS), sensory play, and age-appropriate socialisation. Whether it’s playtime with kids, cuddles on the couch, or quiet bonding moments, our puppies are raised with intention, patience, and heart. Each litter is thoughtfully planned with a strong focus on health, temperament, and breed standards. We health-test our dogs and put careful consideration into our pairings to ensure we are improving the breed and giving every family a happy, healthy new family member. Our puppies receive the very best start to life with us and we go above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition into their new homes. All puppies go home up-to-date with vaccinations and worming, and each family receives a carefully curated puppy pack filled with essentials, comfort items, and helpful resources to make settling in as easy as possible.
