Tidepool Dachshunds

At Tidepool Dachshunds, we’re a small, home-based breeding program on the NSW Central Coast focused on raising beautiful miniature long-haired dachshunds with exceptional temperaments, health, and type. Our dogs are first and foremost part of our family — raised in our home alongside us and our pack, with plenty of love, enrichment, and everyday socialisation from day one. We are passionate about ethical, intentional breeding and place a huge focus on health and genetics. All of our breeding dogs are DNA tested, regularly vet checked, and carefully paired to complement each other in both temperament and structure. We breed on a smaller scale so we can give every dog and puppy the time, care, and attention they deserve. Alex is currently working as a vet nurse and studying veterinary nursing at TAFE NSW, which strongly influences how we raise and care for our dogs and litters. Puppies are raised in a busy home environment, exposed to household noises, handling, other dogs, and early routines to help build confident, well-rounded companions. We pride ourselves on being approachable, transparent, and supportive throughout the entire puppy journey. We stay in contact with our puppy families long after puppies leave, and are always here to offer guidance and support. Our puppies leave with: • Age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, and vet checks • A comprehensive puppy pack including food and feeding guides • DNA-tested parentage • Early socialisation and enrichment exposure • Ongoing breeder support for life We regularly work with families across Sydney, Newcastle, and Australia-wide through trusted transport options, and we love helping match the right puppy with the right home.
